Blanket Drama!

There is somthing pretty special about this blankie because now Kolby loves it too! Kyson is not even a little bit willing to share it with anyone so I better get looking for another one! Kolby will look around and make sure Kyson's not going to grab it away from him before he picks it up and he either hurries and gives it back when Kyson wants it or runs away if he thinks he has a chance at making off with it!

Gotta Love 'Em

I absolutely love this picture because Kyson really loves this blankie more than life itself. He treats it like it's a live person. He talks to it, he shows things to it, he always asks me if his "blankie wants one too" and just loves the darn thing to pieces. It's so cute, it will be a sad day if that thing ever winds up missing! I love my sweet Kyson bug!


This picture cracks me up and breaks my heart! I asked Kolby if he wanted to get back in the pool- and he obviously did not! This is how he cries when he is truly sad about something. He just puts his head down and cries the saddest little cry you'll ever hear.

Summer Days

Since it's finally past winter coat weather here in Wyoming we decided to break out the swimming pool this week. Kyson loves the water and "jumps" over the sprinkler going about six inches up in the air. He's pretty proud of himself so I guess that's all that matters. Kolby, on the other hand, is not so much for the water. He loves the bathtub, loves the indoor pool and loves hoses, water bottles, squirt guns and all that stuff, but not our little pool. I distracted him with a few toys so I could take these pics and he was happy for about a whole minute.

Kolby the Climber

The climbing stage has officially begun! Kolby has discovered that anything and everything can be climbed on. We had a 2x4 in our driveway the other night and he thought he was the coolest kid in the world sitting/standing on it- two inches off the ground! Whenever I hear him yell, "Mommy, Mommy" I know he's stuck on the fireplace again. Now all he needs to learn is how to get back down!

A Little About Us

These are our two crazy little boys Kyson and Kolby. They sure do keep us busy but we love them to pieces and they have made our lives so much fun. Colt and I got married in June of 2005 and Kyson was born in March, 2006 and Kolby in May, 2007. Now that Kolby is a little older I have had quite a few people ask me if they are twins, which, thank heavens they are not! We live in Evanston, WY where Colt has an auto glass business and I am lucky enough to stay home with my kids. We're just a happy little family making the most of each day!
