Cruisin', Camping & Fishing
So Makell and Adlee have a little pink Escalade Power Wheels and whenever Kyson is around it he is basically obsessed and never wants to get out. I decided they needed their own and they have ridden that thing to death! I regreted buying it the first few mornings because we were out at seven o'clock in the morning in it! This is Kyson and Caleb, my nephew.
Kolby turned two on May 27th and we had a birthday party at Colt's parents with a bouncy castle and cousins and friends. It was fun but it could have been a little nicer weather!
All Kolby wanted for his birthday was a drill. He got one from us and one from his Grandma and Grandpa Hamilton. He loves the goggles and has a couple pair that he wears quite frequently.
Kolbs trying his darndest to break the pinata (I don't think he even put a dent in it).
He is only two but for some reason Kyson seemed pretty certain he needed three candles. He's been practicing blowing out the candles for months!
This is his "birthday drill", as he calls it. He jumped up and down and clapped when he saw what it was.

We went up to Lilly Lake in the Uinta's to roast hot dogs and play around last week. The kiddos loved it and were very interested in the outhouse and where all that stuff was gonna go- yuck! Dont' these three look so alike in this picture? Kyson and Colt can pull the exact same faces, it cracks me up!

Our BIG 3 Year Old!!!
Kyson's birthday was last Friday and I honestly have no idea how three years went by in the blink of an eye! Oh dear, I am tearing up right now thinking about how fast he is growing up and how much I am going to miss him being little! Although it is fun to see him change and grow there is just something about little ones that makes you wish it would last forever. He had a birthday party with my family and my cute little nephew the Saturday before because their birthdays are only a week apart. We went to the Children's Museum at the Gateway and they had a blast! I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't been. They had tons of stuff to do, we could have stayed all day long. As an added bonus for the parents, there was a room upstairs with tables of hand dipped, yummy, yummy chocolates and you could grab a bag and just take what you wanted. Sooo good! My parents and brothers and sisters were nice enough to tag along to the museum and play with the kids so they especially loved that they had an audience. We went to Liberty Park after for lunch and cake. Here are a few pics of the day.
He didn't get to do anything really exciting on his actual birthday- I told him we would go swimming but the pool was closed so we couldn't even do that! Colt and I had to go to a wedding that night so he and Kolby had a sleepover with my parents and I'm sure that made his day a little better! Then we had pizza and cake with Colt's family on Sunday for yet another birthday party! He got to play with his cousins and got tons of presents! (I apologize for not knowing how to put pictures where they are supposed to be but the pictures that are supposed to go with this text are at the very top.:)

Random...
Almost nightly, Kyson and Kolby go to their room and try on random hats then come running down to the living room where Colt and I are peacefully watching TV and show us. One night they tried on all the hats they could find (and they have quite a few) so they ended up with trucks and legos and stuff on their heads instead!
Kyson is "Woody" and Kolbs is "Buzz."
They would do this all day long if possible. Their daddy is their own little playground:)
Kyson got a spray bottle with food coloring in it to spray in the snow at preschool and here they are testing it out at home.
This is MY sewing machine I got for Christmas that Colt just couldn't keep his hands off of. He made each of the boys a little bag and something else that I can't remember. I love it when my husband is so homemaker-ish:)
So I have decided that I am not a very good blogger. I really intend to blog a lot more than I do and by the time I sit down to do it I forget what I was even going to blog about. So, what you end up with is a bunch of random pictures from our camera. I really wish I was better about writing the little every day things so I could use this as somewhat of a journal like some people do but I'm not quite there yet:)

Merry Merry Christmas!
We spent Christmas here in town with Colt's family this year. It was a little hectic because Colt's grandpa had been in the hospital until Christams eve morning but it was tons of fun and yummy yummy dinner! Kyson wasn't feeling all that well and didn't leave the couch the entire night, poor little bug.
This is Kyson's bike from Grandpa Stevie that he didn't even want to touch he felt so sick- Kolby didn't mind taking over:)

It's Been a While...
I know I have been slacking on my posts so here is an official update of what we have been up to... and, brace yourselves cause it's a lot to take in all at once!:)
Kyson loves this game- if only he could really pack Kolby himself and Colt didn't have to follow them all over the place!

We have a driveway that's about straight up and down but it makes for some good sledding this time of year! Kolby wanted to go "again Daddy, again!"
Kyson did not want to participate in the sledding so he watched out the window. Hopefully I can talk him into it one of these days and he can see how much fun it is.

Uncle Kelvie came up to visit and entertained the boys with many rounds of hide-and-seek and anything else Kyson could think up. Kolby was mostly just interested in his hat as he is with most guys and hats.
I kid you not, the moment Colt sits down on the couch this is what happens! Kyson truly believes he is a jungle gym I'm starting to think!
We are super excited for Christmas and wish it would hurry up and get here! Happy Holidays everyone!
